Bone Voyage Dog Rescue

BVDR is a non-profit run by American and Canadian retirees that helps rescue Mexican dogs and find them adoptive families in the US and Canada. Through loving foster care, vet care and transportation services, BVDR dogs are given bright futures.

We also assist individuals that find street dogs and don’t know what to do with them. We are all volunteers working together to try to minimize the amount of homeless dogs in the area.

As the Director of Bone Voyage Dog Rescue, they are on a mission to fly over 3000+ homeless Mexican dogs to loving homes and rescue partners in the US and Canada every year! Their unwavering dedication and selflessness have not only changed the lives of these furry companions but also inspired many to follow in their footsteps.

Tim is a passionate animal lover who has found his calling in Ajijic, Mexico! As the treasurer of Bone Voyage Dog Rescue, he spends his days surrounded by adorable furry friends, making a positive impact on their lives.
